Overview

Our Campaign Editor provides you with rich templates for each of the creative elements of your program. Each call to action, outbound email, and program experience template is set up according to our best practices with sensible defaults and has customizable variables for copy, styling, images, and behavior. In particular situations, we can help you customize specific creatives beyond the options available in the Campaign Editor. If your program would benefit from these more rigorous customizations, please contact your Implementation or Customer Success Manager to discuss your options.

Required Assets and Formats

We aim to get your creative elements as close to your vision as possible. Whether you’re customizing your program microsite or any other creative, we will need you to provide assets for both mobile and desktop in an acceptable format.

Assets for Mobile and Desktop

The tables of assets below are split up based on tabs of our Campaign Editor that are visible for a standard Refer a Friend program: Overview, Advocate, Friend, and Marketing. See a more detailed breakdown of creative images here.

Accepted Formats

We accept designs and assets for your creative customizations in the following formats. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Implementation Manager. Files exported or shared with us via Figma are ideal. We also accept files generated from other design software such as Sketch or Zeplin. Screen

Exact HTML/CSS

If your team does not have design software available to you, this is the next best option. In addition to the code files, you must also send us all copy and images in high-resolution SVGs.

Detailed PDF Mockup

If the above two options are not accessible to your team, please create PDF mockups that include as much detail as possible. In addition to the mockups, you must also send us all copy and images in high-resolution SVGs. Group

Process and Timeline

Extole Turnaround

Once you have submitted your design and all required assets to your Implementation Manager, you can expect a turnaround time of about two weeks. This timeline is subject to change depending on the overall complexity of your designs and how much they deviate from our templates.

Review

Once we’ve completed the customizations, you will be able to see the changes reflected in the specific creatives within your My Extole Campaign Editor. Please note that while you can see the changes in the editor, they may not be exact until your Extole team has access to your staging environment. Most styling discrepancies occur because Extole’s templates inherit CSS from your website, and that inheritance doesn’t happen in the editor.

Staging Environment Testing

Having access to your staging environment is crucial for testing purposes. We need to be able to run through your program flow and ensure all of the changes are functioning as expected as well as address any remaining design issues. If possible, please plan accordingly to give your Extole team access to your staging environment at the same time as you are sorting out your Technical Implementation with Extole. This is typically around two weeks prior to your scheduled launch date.
